What are the Costs?

Mediation Hearing Costs:

The cost of Contract Mediation is shared equally between the parties involved:

•  Hearing fees take the following considerations into account:
•  HR Disputes are charged per session at £850 plus VAT, per disputing party or department, plus travel fees and other expensese by arrangement.Contract disputes are costed by taking into consideration,The amount/s claimed between the parties. (where the dispute has a value claim above £100,000 GBP a premium of 3% of the net settlement is invoiced in addition to the Hearing fee)
•  Mediation and travel time allocated according to the complexity and distances
•  Costs may be increased by the need to hire suitable rooms
•  A Neutral venue can be organised for you by East Midlands Mediation

For guidance Venue hire costs are between £175.00 and £320 (depending on the regional variance) for 5 hours max session
Mediation costs are charged at £850.00 per disputing party plus VAT per 5 hour session
Travel to and from the venue costs and any hearing over-run hours are charged at £75.00 plus VAT per hour or part hour (maximum over-run allowed is 2 hours)

Separations, Marital Disputes & Civil Partnership Disputes

Charged at £850.00 plus vat per party for a 1 day Hearing - Hearings average 5 hours duration plus up to 6 hours preparity work/research imput. (Marriages & CP disputes can require from 1 - 3 sessions).
Note: over-run hours are charged at £75.00 per hour (maximum ove-run allowed is 2 hours) Travel and overnight expenses are charged extra by arrangement.
